Fighter
The fighter is the core of any army. They suffer at range but excel in close quarter combat. Usually operating as the frontline defenders, they have increased stats in attack, defense, and health. At low levels, they’re only threats in large numbers. At high levels, they can operate alone and take on 2 or more opponents at once. They usually wield a wide variety of melee weapons and is usually considered to be a good class for beginners.
Ranger
The ranger is best companion for a fighter. They specialize in ranged combat but can fall back on swordplay if necessary. At low levels, they work best as long range support and at high levels they can operate as any range finishers.
Rogue
The rogue is the assassin class of Caeda. Masters of stealth and infiltration, rogues prefer to attack when their opponents least expect they. They are quick but fragile, unable to withstand any heavy attack. Instead they rely on their speed to dodge attacks and slip in and out of the shadows to catch their opponent off guard; setting traps and inflicting status effects on foes to give them the edge.
Mage
The mage class is the only class that must truly be taught (See rules about that on the forums). They are truly a support class, not truly able to enter in direct combat against someone of equal or higher level. Most mages work better at range but some spells require the user to be close.
Warlock
The Warlock is essentially the same as the Mage, working with darker, attack based spells drawn from the sources of Death based magic.
The Cleric
A Cleric is usually the medic, unlike Magician-classes, the Clerics usually draw their powers from either Faith, a god, or some variation of the two. Their magic generally requires them to stick to a certain doctrine to access it, but usually comes with less of a price or chance of backfiring like some Magician classes might experience. Clerics often focus on healing and party buffs, but sometimes they are offensively useful against "unholy" enemies such as demons and undead.
