Hi everybody!
As we all know there has been a recent contest arising and I found it quite interesting.
The rules were:
Create a dungeon party contest. Your job is to create the perfect (or as close to it as you can) 4-man dungeon group, using characters that currently exist, or have previously existed. (Gods don't count). Characters are first come first serve! DM me to claim your 4. Once you have claimed your characters, make a forum post in the General Discussion section of the forums, entitled (Player Name)'s Dungeon Party Submission, writing up the skills of your group, how they compliment each other, and how they would get through the dungeon. The first place winner will get 25,000e, second place 15,000e, and third place 10,000e. This should be made using approved lore, anything deemed to be powergamey will be disqualified.
So I decided to try my hand at what I think would be the most strategic 4-man dungeon group. Hope everyone enjoys
One of the first things that came to my mind when I thought of assembling a dungeon party the classic four man theory. In theory, the group that usually sees the highest success rate consists of a
A: Tank ------- Oratar (SquishyTheJello) Oratar is a golem who currently exists in present Caeda. Oratar is the perfect candidate for a tank due his bulk and raw striking power. Oratar would be able to handle the brawn of the damage in order to allow the following members to do their jobs.
B: Swordsman (DPS) ------- Saladin of The Sands (AerysAegis) As we all know from the recent war Saladin is not to be toyed with when it comes to any form of combat. If Saladin was able to give the armies of House Burain and Dosternn by himself, I'm sure he would be able to handle monsters with ease. Saladin is easily in the top 5 swordsmen in Caeda's existence. Not to mention his weapon, which was a weapon meant to slay gods, so I'd imagine it could take out a big boss without a problem. Saladin's state is currently unknown due to recent role playevents.
C: Ranger (DPS) ------- Halt (cooltool23 (Formerly ME) Though many of you new players may not know who Halt is, Halt was my old character on the previous Caeda server. Halt was the owner of the Rangers Guild which taught many new and renown rangers in time. Although Halt was debatably one of the best Rangers in Caeda, he didn't really perform many killings. However, Halt's most infamous decision was when he joined Leomaris's conquest which killed many including the orcs, humans, and many others. Halt died during the conquest with Leomaris. Another notable feature of Halt was his weapon "Silent Song". Silent Song was bow that shot multiple arrows at the same time and he carried enchanted arrows which when shot would potentially cause a smite upon their target (lighting strike).
D: Cleric (Healer) ------ Rykov Tanet (AerysAegis) Rykov is the final piece to my squad since every good group needs a healer. Rykov is just the guy. Rykov would be able to sit back and keep the tank at a decent health while providing some protection to Saladin and Halt. Although I wasn't around when Rykov was alive, I do know he is currently dead but would still make a great addition to the team.
