This is a rough system and is still being worked on to reach both staff aproval, and satisfaction of quality by myself.
Gods and worship system: This system is to determine how and when a god answers a prayer under various situations.
Prayer: Praying to a god or goddess using a religious structure may allow a god or goddess to answer you, unless you pray at a specific shrine, or to a specific god any god (hopefully including Ikrus) may answer you either directly, or indirectly depending on their mood, the favor you curry with the god that answers you, and how devout you are to their followings.
Some gods frown on certain actions, such as becoming a or warewolf, being needlessly cruel (would give the karma system a use) may also be added in to the factor if the gods answer you at all, or even punish you for trying to seek their aid as you are.
(on a note I will be making grand alters/shrines, these will boost your chances of a god or goddess hearing you, but you cannot please to any specific god using one)
The Pantheon and what they stand for/represent
Qyftarr: God of the sun, time, flames, light, patron of dragons, of the heavans. gain favor by worship, staving off darkness, and leading a devout and pius life, favors clerics, human2, and dwarves
Eta: first wife of Qyftarr, goddess of the moon, wolves, the hun, patron of the unknown, of the heavans. unknown on how to gain favor other then being an elf.
Lelthys: Second wife to Qyftarr, goddess of evil, the darkness, undead, curses, the patron of death (The mother of vampires?). Gain favore by becoming a , practicing necromancy, corrupting souls, favors necromancers
Athys: Goddess of wisdom, strategy, music, medicine, the patron of mages, Daughter to Qyftarr and Eta. Gain favor by seeking wisdom from any of the gods, insight on situations, and advancing magic, favors mages and warlocks
Ydarus: God of thunder, lightning storms, win, speed, the patron of rangers, brother to Qyftarr, favors rangers, and possibly assassins.
Cyaos: God of war, anger, strength, domination, blood, the patron of warriors. Gain favore be leading charges and attacks, showing no mercy to those against you, conquests, favors warriors and orcs
Oceyar: God of the sea, earthquakes, rivers, sunken treasure, sailors, the patron of the drowned, brother to Qyftarr. Gain favor by worship, praying after taking from the sea. favors nagas
Isheia: Goddess of frost, winter snow, ice, the patron of maidens and witches, daughter of Qyftarr and Lelthys. Currently unkown how to gain favor.
Vyris: The goddess of nature, life, forests, food, fertility, abundance, the patron of mothers, daughter of Qyftarr and Eta, gain favore by seeking blessing for a full harvest, respecting nature as a living creature, sharing what you have no need of.
Ikrus: Nothing is known of Ikrus
Praying to a god in certain situations is also possible, with the example of praying to the god of sun for sunlight during the eternal darkness, each god of their respective forces can also alter the world should they see the one asking them is worthy enough for them to do so.
Being a , disgusts all but Lelthys, Isheia, and Ikrus. Causing them to ignore the one pleading to them and possibly even punishing them for doing so.
Being a werewolf isn't liked by the gods, and lowers the chance they'll aid you, with the exeption of Eta, and Vyris, should you have a boon fron either of them the other gods will cease their disposition of you on a negetive manner.
