House Foxburg:
Pursuers of knowledge, and dedicated researchers of the unknown house Foxburg has been around generations gathering and storing written words in their own cryptic dialect. Their estate is host to the kingdom's largest library with knowledge dating back as far as the belief in the gods. Their line of descent comes from Aramore the wise the only Anthique said to of been permitted to mingle with mortals, and from he they transcended generation after generation; and after all this time magic is said to still flow in their veins.. The blood of Aramore!
Traditions: House Foxburg doesn’t bury their dead they instead layer them in parchment written with their deeds both impure and pure, layer after layer till the body is no longer visible before perforating them with a fine coal dust that when ignited turns the parchment to ash; and somehow makes the body disappear through the arcane knowledge often thought to be held by House Foxburg, but this would be a rare occasion when that belief could truly be understood. This process is done so as to acknowledge and cleanse the soul of their houseline so they might be transparent going into the next life, a blank slate as some may call it.
The Foxburg’s revel after one of their own has passed, and no mourning is permitted(as odd as that may sound it is relatively in tune to House Foxburg’s understanding of life and that it one day must pass into death.) and should you be invited to this festive occasion you should cover your face for it is believed should the dead see their family on the last night of their passing they will wish to remain as a ghost, and so they disguise themselves to allow the spirit to pass without remaining.
