[In-Character]
This is the section where you should begin to formulate and create your character. This character should follow the server’s lore and be a basic character. You character should not start with any masteries or proficiencies. For example, you cannot start a character that has been a mage, or swordsman, for hundreds of years. This takes away from character development and can fall under Powergaming in some cases.
Character’s name: (what do you want your character to be called?)
Everard
Character’s sex: (male or female?)
Male
Character’s race: (http://caedarp.boards.net/thread/3/decription-races)
Human
Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!)
30
Biography (Read up on your character's race, server lore, and look at the dynamic map; Where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.)
Everard comes from the far north, presumably the lands known as "The Fjord". Throughout the 30 odd years he's been alive, Everard has served in a multitude of settlement militia's- Drifting with the wind it would seem. "To the highest bidder," he would almost always say when pledging his sword to service. Having been born 30 years ago, Everard has seen his fair share of light combat and learned a thing or two about staying alive.
Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?)
Everard is truly a selfish man, he doesn't turn his nose to illegal activity- And quite enjoys it too. He's a quiet, calculating man. Always taking his time in planning out his next move.
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?)
Everard doesn't aspire to be anything higher than he already is, but truly would like a comfy home for when he can no longer fight. Taking the path of a wandering sellsword perhaps isn't the fastest way to wealth, but it's exciting to him.
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?)
Everard has a good build for combat, a stable stance and rigid upper body. He's got experience with his sword and likely won't be disarmed very easily. He's a dirty fighter and is keen on staying alive and well.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?)
It's quite easy to get on his bad side, his temperament is... Spotty. Age slows Everard down ever so slightly. He's not the most learned person, mostly illiterate excepting a few basic words and sentences- He lacks a formal education. His upbringing consisted of hard work and labor, not tucking his nose in books.
Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?)
He's a fairly common northerner. Dark brown hair, just past shoulder length and often tied back lazily. A thick beard covers his chin. About 6' tall, not too tall, not too short. Just shy of about 200 lbs. He wears a worn gambeson that's been crudely repaired over the years but seems to have done its job well.
