The day Qyftarr created mortals was quite a special day for all the Gods. They, the masters of their world despite not understanding their own birth, created life. After observing their creation the Gods noticed quite a few flaws. Mortals no matter what their design, did not live forever. They were selfish, wrathful, lustful and over all had a lot of potential for evil. Though, these mortals were all born with this element of innocents. These evil tendencies were learned or developed. Some would even developed good tendencies. Three Gods sat to discuss this conundrum. Lelthys, the Goddess of Death and Evil herself sat down, a deathly grimace spread across her face "These creatures...these mortals, I don't like them. They spread chaos and distraction that even I find distasteful." Vyris, the Goddes of Life sat across from her ,"Yes but not all of them are horrible creatures, some bring love and life to Caeda in ways even I could not think of! They, the created, have even found a way to create! Giving birth to new life across the land." Lelthys rolled her eyes, "I've seen how they 'create new life' and its absolutely horrific, too animalistic if you ask me....And once they've grown the size they just get sent off to kill. No matter though, it really only grows my realm." Umus, God of Balance, sat between the two listening to their bickering over the value of mortals. Eventually his sister, Vyris turned to him saying "What do you think of the mortals Umus, are they a good thing? Or just a nuisance?" Umus sighed, running a hand through his red hair ,"Mortals are....complicated things. They fight, they kill, they steal, they destroy....but they also create. But none of that is their fault, as complicated as they are they're also very simple. They react to the world around them without a second thought. Really it isn't all their fault if they become 'evil' or 'good' it just has to do with the world around them. If theres anyone to blame it is us. In the end though, mortals are rather....neutral." The two Goddesses looked at Umus, both slightly grimaces. Lelthys swiftly stood up, walking away stubbornly saying "I still think I'm right....."
