The Rise of Bragaoss

Veaer looked at the gate of Bragaoss. Purple banners had replaced bright orange ones. There had been a war claim against her town in her absence. For some reason this was a common tradition for Veaer's life. She grabbed the reigns of her horse to leave for another town, but was stopped when she realised she wasn't alone. 

"Salan"

Salan was another one of the Bragaossi residents. She mounted her horse as she saw Salan on his, "What.. exactly are the results?" He sighed, "I managed to escape without Dostern knowing I was in the town" He took another long tired breathe. "I don't know about the others but... Saladin's whereabouts are unknown." Veaer diverted her eyes, "What are you planning to do now?" He looked up at the palace in the distance, "I'm going to leave the town. Rally up whoever I can find, gather gear and be ready if our ' is to return to the throne" 

This idea had sparked Veaer's interest, "I'll come with you. I need to help as much as I can, to make up for my absence" Salan nodded. "I'll gather my belongings and we can set off" 

Veaer went back to her house and packed her valuables. She then left a sign at her door, "We will return, my " She gave the signal to Salan and they set off, "We'll head north. I have set up our home there for now"
