There was once a time in Caeda when no light had shone. No creature had shirred. It was just darkness. No matter the direction you went. You were just met by darkness. Sadness. Loneliness.
There was a spirit. It had been there since the start of time. This spirit had created the land… but needed guardians to watch over it. So the spirit sang and light shone through the land. A bright sparkling light was born. The moon. A beautiful sight. Now the lands had light. ...But the moon had no guide. No direction. Just as the darkness did. The moon had darkened across the land.
So the spirit sang once again and formed another being. A guardian.
Eta. She was to guide the moon to shine. To shine for light, to guide the creatures of the night. The moon and her guardian were bound and were to bring light and serenity to the world forever.
The moons light was strong. The guardian protected her creatures. But the night, it was still lonely and dangerous. The guardian needed something. Needed someone. To complete her.
The spirit heard her call for companionship and thus summoned a new being. The sun. The sun would balance the scale between day and night. Where creatures could be shone on by two lights that intertwine to make something beautiful. Eta could rest. Her and her moon could rest.
As the sun had been summoned, it too needed the guidance of a guardian. So the spirit gave life to a new guardian being. To protect and guide the sun. Qyftarr. Together both guardians looked over the sun, the moon and the heavens. They protected mortals and living beings. Together they formed life.

It was a normal day, as the sun rose and the moon went to rest, the two guardians had their share of affection. Whilst this was happening, something new was brewing. To balance the good and evil. The sun had a brother born… Ydarus. A storm within himself. Anger, rage and hate was swirling inside him like a hurricane. Qyftarr, his brother, was powerful and almighty. Yet he was looked down on. His brother had the world, the heavens and Eta. Him? He had nothing but darkness and sorrow. If he couldn't have love or something to call his own... He wanted power. To overtake. To be worshipped. He struck the mortals with lightning and storms so that they would beg for his forgiveness. Yet they always went to Eta and Qyftarr… His plans didn't work and this only made him more furious than he already was. He needed guidance of his own…
The seas came to a calm wave and a low rumble flowed through the water. Another guardian was emerging beneath the depths of the sea. This was a neutral being. He did not dedicate his time to good or bad. But rather would just keep peace between the two forces
When he rose, he saw Ydarus. His brother. Ydarus was over the seas causing havoc. Shooting lightning and making his waves rise and crash that it could take down a whole ship with it.
Oceyar wanted to stop this and keep peace. He reached to the clouds where Ydarus was and held his hand. “Dear brother” He looked into his brothers eyes. He could see the swirling anger. “Stay calm. There is no reason to be like this. No reason to bring destruction to the mortals when they did no harm.” The brother stopped and looked down at the sea guardian. He looked with sorrow. “But we have nothing. I have nothing. Everything belongs to Qyftarr. Who doesn't think of us at all.” Oceyar dragged his brother to where he stood. “Look at the skies above. The clouds. The rain. The creatures of the sky. They are all yours. Our brother looks after the land so we do not need to worry of it. We are guardians of the sky and sea. We have a whole world for ourselves as well. The spirit who created us, created this world, gave us all we need” Ydarus looked below the sea and saw all the beautiful creatures that belonged to Oceyar. “You're right… but this does not stop the fact that he will still pay” and thus Ydarus returned to his throne in the sky. Oceyar rested and the waves calmed down. He would need to watch over his brother from now on.
As the clouds became light and the sea became calm. The spirit went to Qyftarr and Eta, and blessed them with a child. When the sun and moon were aligned a being uncurled in the light of both forces. Athys was born.
She was made to bring peace and healing to the mortals below. She was made to sing to the mortals for safe travels and a good healthy life. Athys was proud of her role and would stand for it in the name of her parents forever.
The sun and moon were proud to look over their daughter Athys healing mortals with medicines, guidance and music. But they knew that their daughter could not provide all for the mortals. So they asked of the spirit to provide another blessing.
The light of the moon and the sun shone on a patch of earth and thus Vyris was born. She bloomed like a flower and could create life as her parents had. She bought harmony for the mortals alongside her sister. Together they could care for the creations their parents and the spirit had bought on the land.
Even though all the guardians watched the land and protected it. Below the land something was coming alive… The Nether. To keep balance the spirit had to create the Nether. Mortals weren’t perfect, where would they go for doing wrong. The Nether was a vast land underneath the material world and thus needed a guardian for itself.
Under the hot lava of the Nether, Lelthys rose from the steaming liquid. All the undead creatures watched the being emerge. They saw she had beauty in their dead eyes. She was their . When she stepped from the lava she examined her land. She found it beautiful. Being born underground she did not know of what was above her. She did not know of the land she could conquer and rule over as . She didn’t know how much she could get from the overworld.
One day Lelthys was on her throne. She heard of the stories of the overworld, Qyftarr and Eta. They were strongly worshipped. She told her subjects that this wasn’t true, but in the inside she knew that something they said was true. There was a whole other world above hers. More favoured than hers. So she called upon the spirit to open up a portal.
The spirit was called on by Lelthys but was not able to open the portal for the undead , however it summoned another guardian that had the power.
Cyaos formed. Her son. He represented war and anger. Strength and dominance. And of course, the blood of enemies. He heard of Lelthys’ request and happily obliged. He mixed lava, a substance of the Nether, and water, a liquid of the overworld and formed obsidian. A rock that could create the frame of the portal to another dimension. Finally he lit the portal with flames, “Your request has been granted mother” He led the into the portal and when they had made it through...they were met by another guardian.
A tall being wrapped with large wings and wearing blue and white armour... She held out her arms moving water and ice to keep the portal stable. The looks over at the new guardian. “And who may you be?” Cyaos lead his mother, “Your daughter mother... Isheia.” The lady came down from the sky and held her mother's hands. “Cyaos and I worked together to create the portal… lava from the nether, water of the over world.” She smiled, “And now to see your ”
Isheia guided her mother through the sky and went to the heavens. When they had entered the clouds started becoming grey. Then Lelthys saw him. Qyftarr. She walked to him. “My ” Qyftarr turned and was mesmerised by the nether queens beauty. So it was true… The legend of a mighty who ruled the overworld. She grabbed the sun guardians hands and pulled him down. “I am Lelthys. The powerful of the Nether… come with me and I will give you everything” Qyftarr was still under the spell of her beauty and followed her through the portal. When they had arrived Lelthys took control of Qyftarr. “I am your . And always will be” She had heard of the legend of Eta as well… A worthy opponent...
